Short on cash? A very convenient way to fill up wall space is to just create your own! You don’t need to be particularly craft-savvy, nor do you need to have a lot of time. There are a lot of awesome ideas out there on the internet, and I’ve posted my absolute favourite below.
1) Start with getting a canvas from any nearby art supply or stationary store, ensuring that the size works for your space – you don’t want to have a very large empty wall and one tiny little postcard sized art piece.
2) Buy a fabric piece large enough to cover the canvas, and have enough overlapping space on the sides. DIY kudos if you can reuse old curtains, dupattas or bedsheets. Ensure the color and style suits your space.
3) Glue fabric onto canvas
4) Hang on your wall
