This weird fly / fish manifestation is clearly a reflection of my sleep deprived obsession with protecting my newborn from flies, mosquitoes and their ilk! This is a plain old pencil sketch, and available for free to ichthyologists, entomologists, apiologists and even lepidopterists.
Feisty yet fragile, wise yet foolish, and easily angered but still lovable! This peacock depicts a man staring at a mirror doing some inner searching. Inspired by my husband’s morning rituals and his evolution over our numerous years of marriage.
So apparently I’m still obsessed with peacocks – this one came out with a weird chinese twist! Pencil sketch, with gray and white chalk pastel smudged with water, sponge and fingers.
